There has been a lot of coverage of California’s newest most recent legislative action regarding consumer privacy. I will be posting a video on this law on Monday, and doing a webinar with IAPP on it soon to discuss some of the key provisions, but I wanted to post my slides before Monday because they summarize key points–including the new rights consumers have, as well as the new obligations on businesses that collect, and sell, information regarding California consumers.
