The Lares Institute has announced it has formed an EU Working Group to address the potential changes to the EU Data Protection Directive. European justice commissioner, Viviane Reding, recently stated that she intended to make changes Data Protection Directive, which she would announce in January, 2012, and the Lares Institute will closely monitor, and provide a forum for discussion of, these changes.
